As an introvert and a scanner (i.e. timid, scattered, unfocused, procrastinator), it hasn’t been easy being a parent of three, especially of a child with special needs. My blog is where I’ve logged some of my thoughts, goals, achievements, rants, breakdowns, and breakthroughs. I also write poetry and short stories.

Check out my newly published book, Skeleton Key.

I paint. I try to sing. I’ve dabbled in other various things, such as ukulele, belly dancing, burlesque, shaolin kempo. I enjoy making websites and using self-publishing platforms. I have a YouTube channel I may add content to in the near future. You can find me singing karaoke on Smule and posting the results on Instagram.

If you like what you just read, please check out more of my writing and feel free to leave a comment, share, and subscribe.

“I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted.”

― Jack Kerouac

The hardest thing is to live richly in the present without letting it be tainted out of fear for the future or regret for the past.

― Sylvia Plath

The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom

― Maya Angelou
